DGM was awarded multiple contracts to undertake asphalt surfacing reinstatement works for Scottish Water partner Caledonia Water Alliance.

Scottish Water is investing millions of pounds in improving and maintaining the water infrastructure and quality of water in Scotland. This includes the repair and replacement of underground pipes and sewers. DGM is trusted to resurface the carriageways and footpaths to the required standards following these repairs.

DGM was awarded the contract to undertake asphalt repairs at four petrol filling stations across the Central Belt of Scotland; Cambuslang, Denny, Kirkintilloch and Largs.

Undertaking works within a petrol filling station requires understanding of the potential hazards of working in such an environment and the DGM teams have the necessary experience to undertake these types of works safely and efficiently.

Over the period, DGM has been awarded 15 separate contracts so far, as a sub-contractor to both Idverde and Land Engineering, its’ predecessor. The client is global petrochemical giant Ineos.  These works are undertaken in a “live” petrochemical plant and all works are subject to Permit to Work procedures and some out-of-hours work.

The total surfaced area has amounted to over 6,300m² so far.

DGM was awarded a contract to resurface part of the car park at this busy Lidl – Pollokshaws store.  Due to the nature of the site, a live public retail environment, DGM delivered the job by separating the public from the works.  As a retail environment, minimising disruption to the public and returning parking bays to shoppers as soon as possible was a priority.
